Menu for the evening is as follows:-

Starters:- Creamy Curried Carrot & Butter Bean Soup

Risotto Prima Vera – peas, baby broad beans, spinach, fresh herbs, fresh parmesan (can be a main course)

Hot Buckie Smoked Salmon Nicoise – with quails eggs, baby new potatoes, green beans, etc

Mains: Roast Lamb with garlic & herbs, seasonal veg and new potatoes

Thai-style fish (still to decide whats best) with spring veg & noodles

Leek & Goat’s Cheese Tartlets with a crisp baby leaf salad or seasonal hot veg & new potatoes

(can be a starter)

After Dark & White Chocolate Cups with langue du chat biscuits

Rhubarb Crumble Tart

Platter of Cheeses & Fruits

Patricia (see pic below) our Head Chef, is the brains behind our menu. She’s one of the team who slaves over a hot stove nearly every day. And she’s come up with a lovely menu for the next Boogie Bistro Night on Friday 13 April. Its nearly complete and will be posted on here tomorrow. We’re about half full so far so please reserve your table as soon as you can to make sure we have room.

We’re now open 7 days a week – for the rest of the year. Yesterday (1st) was our first Sunday opening and we were pretty busy. So if you’re coming for lunch please let us know and we’ll reserve a table. Open Good Friday, Easter Monday – hours as normal 10 – 5.30 (Coffee Shop closes at 5)

At last our Spring clothes have now arrived in the shop. Nice classy stuff from ‘Two Danes’ in Denmark and hemp/cotton/bamboo ‘Braintree from Australia. All easy to wear, good quality, good value, everyday clothes. Come in by the end of March and enjoy 10% discount off the new collection.

As our previous two Bistro nights have been so successful we’re attempting a third on Friday 23 March. We’re in the process of putting our Menu together and you’ll be able to get hold of it shortly. Boogie Burns Night – Sat 28 Jan

After our successful Christmas Bistro evening we’re hoping to have an equally jolly Boogie Burns Night Dinner on Saturday 28 January. We need pretty much a full house for this to go ahead so if you and your friends are interested, please book a table as soon as you can. We’re not licensed so an added bonus is that you can take your own drinks. You will enjoy a lovely 3 course dinner with a wee dram included. Cost is £25 per head.
